Latest pics of Sienna 5 1/2 to 7 months and Braden 20 to 21 1/2 months

The next several blogs are of Sienna 5 1/2 to 7 months and Braden 20 to 21 1/2 months.  As you will see a lot has happened in the past few months.  At times we think we have to be insane to have kids so close in age, but most of the time we just feel blessed and have so much fun.  We are very blessed to have such happy, healthy and fun loving children, oh and beautiful too!

Girls weekend

Here are some pics of our girls weekend while the boys were away at the Duck game.  The weather has been great, so had to get out and enjoy it.  We went for a stroll  and had lunch in NW Portland, a really quaint shopping area, then we headed downtown and took a stroll along the Willamette River.

Halloween

It was a little cold and Braden is sill a little young, so we just visited  our neighbors to show off the kids costumes.  Braden really enjoyed handing out candy to all the trick or treaters  that visited us.
The cutest Buzz Lightyear ever!  The neighbors got such a kick out of him.  He really loved dressing up.

Chi chi even liked his costume that grandma Joyce sent.  He just liked all the attention!
Sienna wasn't so sure about her costume.  She kept giving us this look like "what the heck are you doing to me".  She was just so cute though.

Our trip to the Pumpkin Patch

Braden being the fun and goofy boy that he is!

His favorite past time... practicing his golf swing

He'll always be our first baby!

Sienna's first experience with rice cereal and first time in the high chair

She sure didn't like her first experience with cereal and still isn't exactly taking to her solids very well! Just goes to show how different kids can be.  Braden loved his solids from the get go.
Oh my gosh, where did the time go??  I can't believe she's eating solids and in her high chair already!

Fla/St. Maarten Vacation

We just returned from our whirlwind two week family vacation to Florida then to St. Maarten. We had soooo much fun, but came back more exhausted than before we left. Traveling with two kids isn't easy, but both were better than expected on all flights. First we went to Fla to see Grandma, or MeMa as Braden would say. To our surprise my grandmother and great Aunt were there as well, so Sienna got to meet her great grandmother for the first time. Then we were off to St. Maarten to meet up with Aunt Angie, Uncle Dennis and cuz Elana. We were excited to have Braden and Elana play, but Braden was too rough and Elana was scared of him from day one. Oh well. Soon enough Elana will be beating him up. It was hectic, but so worth it. Enjoy our pics.

Family getaway to Sun River Resort

Here are some pics from our recent family getaway to Sun River Resort near Bend, OR. We love it there and are even thinking about possibly relocating. There is tons to do from hiking and biking to golfing and skiing. Mt. Bachelor is just 15 minutes away. This trip we rented a cabin and grandpa Ron and uncle Ro came along. We rented bikes and a buggy for Braden and took turns taking Braden on long rides. One morning I took Braden to the stables to see the horses and along the way we saw a coyote in one of the fields. Unfortunately you can't see him in any of the pics. We also took long walks around the property and really enjoyed the pool. On one of our long walks to the playground we came across a deer just hanging out.

Day trip to Hood River, OR

Here are some pics from a day trip to Hood River, OR. Hood River is huge windsurfing and kite surfing community and is known all over the world for it. We had a great day sitting and watching the surfers and of course Braden had to take a plunge.

Sienna 3 to 4 months and Braden 18 months

Here are a few pics of our day trip to the Oregon coast. Braden had a blast! There are also a few pics of Sienna having some rare crib time and enjoying one of her favorite past times... jumping in the Jumperoo.
